Overview

HSM Solutions is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our 2nd shift team (Monday-Friday, 3PM-11PM) at the PTI plant. In this role, you’ll be responsible for distributing materials, organizing stock areas, and using forklifts and scan guns to manage raw materials and finished goods efficiently. You’ll also assist with inventory counts and support production by keeping materials organized and ready for use. The ideal candidate is a team player with basic math and computer skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy. Responsibilities

What You Will Do: 

  • Distribute material to department as needed.
  • Organize material in stock area in an orderly manner.
  • Remove empty boxes or flats when material has been used.
  • Use forklift to move raw material and finished goods.
  • Use scan guns and perform inventory cycle counts
  • Perform tasks outlined on training matrix’s
  • Perform other duties as requested by management.

Qualifications

What You Bring: 

  • A team player with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

  • Comfortable performing basic math and following written or verbal instructions.

  • Forklift or tow motor experience (or a willingness to learn — we’ll train you!).

  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Basic computer skills are a plus, and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
