• Create, modify, and maintain PLC programs for electrical and automated control systems including motors, drivers, sensors, camera system, cylinders, timers, relays, and other control hardware.
• Understand and manipulate different PLC brands: click plus, AB, Siemens, Omro, Keyence, etc.
• Have working knowledge of the National Electric Code and reference it when required. Ability to fabricate and wire electrical panels and terminal boxes. Must be able to read and update electrical and pneumatic schematics. Operate power shop tools as well as common hand tools.
• Work at heights requirements when operating a scissor lift.
• Solid PC computing skills are essential. Ability to take initiative and engage in continued growth and development to learn new technologies.
• Electrical background for industrial equipment installation:  wire gage specifications, conduit and power supplies configuration, experience working on electrical installation on high and low voltage.
• Driving Results: Learn and develop proficiency in multiple programming software used in controls engineering, including but not limited to PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), HMI (Human-Machine Interface) development, SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems, and industrial networking protocols.
• Generate BOM for electrical and automation projects: all control and power hardware specification and manage the procurement side upon material reception.
• Provide technical support for CNC saw machines, hydraulic press, conveyor system, fiber machines, etc.

• Associate degree or higher: Electrical, electromechanics, mechatronics.
• 15+ years of direct related experience in application of automation in manufacturing process.
• A passion for modern technology, a true desire to leverage the most advanced technologies available to improve worker safety, operational efficiency, and financial impacts
• Understanding and knowledge of Metal, New Equipment processes and solutions is desired
• Excellent communication, presentation and demonstration skills with the ability to interface directly with management team
• Knowledge of Data processing, SCADA / PLC (Rockwell, Siemens)/ HMI ( IFix , IBatch , Work Flow, Plan Application)
• Ability to act as a single threaded leader on complex projects while still contributing to concurrent running projects, focusing on multiple value streams and technology types.
• This position may require up to 75% of travel
